New Boba 3G Classic Baby Carrier Innovative Features

3 Oct

This summer my husband decided that he needed a new carrier because he didn’t like the Ergo. He has been complaining that our toddler felt as though she was going to fall out of the carrier and he didn’t not feel comfortable carrying her in it.  I wanted to get a BabyHawk but he wanted a Boba….so we got a Boba. I will be the first to tell you that I haven’t tried many SSC carriers but I can tell you this… Boba delivers comfort. We travelled alot this summer and the Boba carrier made going through airports and long walks so easy. The only thing that was missing was some pockets or pouches for my sunglasses and keys etc.

Well, what do you know? Boba has released a NEW Boba 3G Carrier with some Amazing and Seriously Innovative Features. Here are the ones that I know You will love!

For starters, The New 3G Carrier can now carry newborns from as small as 7 lbs AND there is no need for an Insert!

You can’t beat this one— No more carrier dangling at your feet while walking at the mall or at the play ground

The body/back panel of the carrier is about 2-3″ higher than other carriers. This was my husband’s gripe with the Ergro carrier. My toddler felt as if she was going to fall out especially with the back carry.

A Matching  Back Pack that attaches to your baby carrier.

And my most favorite new feature is the pockets for storing you stuff. Sorry I have no pictures of this one yet.

We are very excited to be carrying the New Boba 3G Classic Carrier at Natural Pure Essentials .  Also available are the new Boba Wrap formerly known as the sleepy wrap at

Boba 2G Baby Carrier Or Ergo Baby Carrier

2 Jul

We got our ergo baby carrier when my first daughter turned 6 months old because my husband wanted a carrier that was easy to use and I wanted a carrier that would not  cause my back to ache….ergo baby carrier was the answer. My daughter loves the carrier and practically lived in the ergo until she was about 2 1/2 yrs old.  We couldn’t live without it, especially on our vacation, as many times I would have to nurse her in it when we were on the go. We love the ergo carrier and after nearly 2 1/2 yrs of use, it is still in tip-top condition.  The only thing we found with the ergo is it is a little short now that my daughter is taller.

We wanted to get a second ergo after we had our second baby but didn’t like the infant insert.  She is now 9 months  20 lbs and is quite heavy to carry. I find with her the ergo strap are depressing my shoulders and I feel as if she is pulling me down.  Since we travel, we want to be able to keep the children close to us . We got a double jogging stroller thinking it would solve our problem however, we often end up with one child in our hands and the other in the ergo.  Needless to say we are back to looking for another baby carrier for baby # 2. I wanted to try something different from the ego and found the boba 2g.

 boba 2g baby carrier

The boba 2G  is a few more inches taller than the ergo  making it great for tall toddlers and also carries the child higher up than the ergo carrier. Boba 2g also features a foot rest strap for toddlers.  Now that I think of about the foot strap, it  is more  restful to put your feet up than to let them dangle. I give Boba an A+ for thinking of this.  The boba 2g  is also wider than the ergo and wraps around you almost like a baby wrap carrier which make you feel as if you and the baby are one. If you have ever used a baby wrap carry you will know how secure and comfortable it is and the boba 2g mimic that wrap feature.  This is awesome for heavy babies like mine as the baby won’t feel as if he or she is pulling you down. As a matter of fact, I rather carry my daughter in our wrap than the ergo for this reason.  As a bonus feature, I love that the boba is an organic carrier and made is in the USA. Boba features some great colors too and designs.  Check them out at

Baby Wearing Week

25 Mar

I wore my 2 1/2-year-old daughter Ambrosia up to this summer while pregnant.  I packed away her ergo soft pack carrier after our vacation because we didn’t need it anymore. We then got a moby wrap for our second daughter, who hated being carried in the cradle position, because she was experiencing tummy pain due to wheat allergy(we did not know that yet) she wanted to be held upright all the time.  Unlike Ambrosia, Madison would sleep anywhere you put here so I didn’t use our moby as often as I thought I would. By the time she turn 5 months, things changed, I began wearing her more often, so I could get work done. Recently, my 2 1/2  year-old has started whining,” hold me” “hold me” and I was becoming frustrated because I couldn’t hold her, do chores, fill orders, attend to the baby and everything else between. One day I decided to see if the baby could fit into the ergo carrier but she was too little to fit. Ambrosia started saying “hold me” and out of desperation I put in the carrier and volia` my troubles were over. She was the happiest camper in town.

Well, it seems like this week is the baby wearing week because both have being teething and wants extra attention. I don’t know what I would have done without our carriers. We have three and I am thinking of adding another back carrier to the lot for this summer vacation. One for mommy and one for daddy. Here is a picture of me wearing our kids at night a few hour before their bed time because they were so cranky.
